Day 1: Your train from London 's King's Cross Station whizzes you due North from London skirting England 's East coast to arrive at the Royal City of Edinburgh at around 11.30. Right by the station you board your open-top sightseeing bus where you'll get a bird's eye view of this majestic City! Your hop-on hop-off ticket allows you the freedom to leave and re-join the bus as often as you like over a 24 hour period - frequent departures throughout the day mean you have total flexibility to plan your day the way YOU choose! You'll see all the main sights, attractions and landmarks of this lovely City, including the Old Town quarter, the gloriously intricate Scott Monument, the Palace of Holyrood House where state ceremonies and official entertaining take place when the Queen is in Scotland and the brand new Scottish Parliament Building .

Your tour includes tickets to Edinburgh Castle where you can live like a King for a day! The Royal apartments include a tiny room in which Mary, Queen of Scots gave birth to the boy who was to become King of Scotland and England upon the death of Queen Elizabeth in 1603. The dazzling Scottish Crown Jewels are also on view.

Day 2: Our coach tour takes you past the sprawling Stirling Castle , featured in 'Braveheart', and after a stop at Fort William in the shadow of Ben Nevis , we drive past the infamous Loch Ness , home of the Loch Ness Monster - probably! The scenery is lovely - shimmering water nestling in dramatic sweeping valleys. We make our way towards the North shore of Loch Ness to the picturesque ruins of Urquart Castle . Time to explore the castle, a short cruise on Loch Ness , and then a short panoramic tour of Inverness , the charming capital of the Highlands . We stop at the delightful Pitlochry en route back to Edinburgh .

Day 3: Enjoy some last minute shopping in Edinburgh , visit the attractions on your 'must-see' list, stroll through the City Centre - it's your day!
